I have absolutely no idea how I feel about this. On one hand old fart Heihachi is/was fifteen different shades of badass, but.. this is also kind of badass?

brb lolling forever. I keep forgetting that the blond guy with the beard is supposed to be Bryan. Also, someone American identify his accent (1:30) for me. From what I understand he sounded Texan in T5, but this one doesn't sound the same to me.
Also, this other one is totally fan-made and much more impressive, especially considering that there are about six different actors total in it.

Normally I wouldn't mind having a reason to spend a few more days home wrapped up in blankets after the most unpleasant symptoms have gone, but I've got a project deadline to meet and I need to be in class to do it. And that deadline? Is this Thursday.
Goddd I need to start posting about fandom or making artdumps or something again. My journal has become all about boring real life lately.

Oct. 19th, 2007 04:57 pmIt occurs to me that I seem to be the only artistic person I know that doesn't carry a sketchbook around. I mean, I've owned sketchbooks, but I never feel quite right drawing in one. I usually just carry a supply of clean A4 sheets with me in a folder that goes everywhere I go (no kidding, I can barely go shopping without that thing).
So anyway. Arts. Not an OMGHUGE dump but whatever.

And the thing with Lola is a rather Bon Kurei-type doesn't-really-make-sense friendship but what the hell, I still squeed a little.
And Oz is still a dumbass, while the strawhat crew is love. ♥
Tekken 6: I suddenly kind of really want this game. D: For the first time since T3, I'm actually interested in the new characters and what they're going to be like. *___* I'm not going to get a PS3 just for one game, though.
As for real life, I had a great 19th birthday yesterday, even though - or, as is more likely, because - it involved less partying (in the sense you'd associate with teenagers, i.e. going out and/or imbibing alcohol) and more bowls of snacks and fighting games and the occasional cup of tea :D. Sep. 11th, 2005 09:51 pmI suck at playing T5 Bryan. I can't get higher than a Warlord. And to make it worse, I can beat any Tekken Lord with Heihachi (who is, I think, an Expert at this point).
...In other news, I don't think I like Anna's voice actor. I mean, who talks like that? The only instance where Anna sounds believable that I can think of is Nina's stage 7 fight with her, after Nina has won ("YOU BITCH"). Look at Nina, her VA sounds good. Although I think both our Irish ladies sound rather American, but hey, what do I know.
And while on the topic of T5 voice actors, Bryan's sounds overly dramatic at times. It's not a bad voice for him, but "I'll hafta thank you for giving me... POWAAH" makes me giggle every time. Other than that, the VAs range from good enough to effing awesome.
And man I hate Jacks and animals. T4 took a step in the right direction when it didn't have a Jack.
Lastly, I'm greatly amused by the wiggling female asses in the customise mode. Seriously, not that I mind one way or another if they want to make the girls' bodies bouncy, but is that even realistic with women as fit as these?

Jun. 15th, 2005 07:33 pmI'm currently reading Silmarillion. So far I think I've understood everything, though the history of Middle-Earth is very confusing. And there are so many different kinds of elves OMG! Not that I didn't know it before, but now that I'm actually trying to keep track of all different labels, it seems like there are a lot more than I originally thought. But I have to read this through. If I don't, I just know I'm going to regret it on my deathbed.
I'm also trying to find and catch Lugia in my Pokémon Crystal, and these two things keep distracting me from each other. Beating the Elite Four be so much easier for me if I got Lugia. I could make it through with my kickass Hypno/Jango and Typhlosion/Aeris alone, if it weren't for Karen and her Dark type pokemon. Poor Jango, being the Psychic type, is automatically helpless and fire doesn't do much against a Houndoom.
Apart from these two things, I'm much busier than I was during school time, what with the haramaki I'm knitting, the paintings and drawings my friends have asked me to do (two of them also both want a haramaki of their own, but with the amount of thread it takes to knit one, I'm not too sure I'll have the energy or patience to knit any more), and trying my damnest to keep the money I put aside for purchasing Tekken 5 aside.

I'm also laughing my ass off that the same guy who does Heihachi did the voice of a dog named "Moss" in one of my all-time favourite animes, Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin. We never made the connection, me and my GNG-loving friends, although we did make the connection between the voice of that big guy in the first episode of Trigun and that of Moss.
