Just saw Shaun of the Dead for the first time in my life. Now there's a zombie movie worth seeing.

Although I did get a bit distracted by Bill Nighy at times. Never put Bill Nighy in a scene if you want me to pay attention to anything besides him.

Anyway, great movie. You should all see it if you haven't already.

I'd watch it if I could stomach zombie movies.

It's weird because I don't mind blood and gore in action/thriller/some horror movies or books, but show me a zombie and I'm ready to run for the hills. Maybe there's some kind of a childhood trauma I've forgotten...

Yeah, it's definitely not for you if you can't stand zombies. It's one of the less apocalyptical (and more colourful) zombie movies, but even so, the zombies are pretty freaky.

Me, I can stand blood and gore in pretty much every context, but I've got to admit that I winced at bit while watching this one.

Have you read Stephen King's Cell (tais olla Kuulolla suomeksi)? It just occurred to me that if you haven't and like zombies, you might like that one. I was a bit disappointed with the ending but other than that, I think it's worth reading.
