From what I gather, it's based on an opening of an anime called Girls High (presumably a show about high school girls). Haven't seen any guys' version, though. Or the original opening it's based on, for that matter.
Oh, and now you've got me scouring the murky depths of youtube in search of more alternative OP cover openings(found 4 so far; Azumanga, Blood+, Hero?, and ED?) Hope you don't mind me posting them later?.
I wonder how they make them? I wouldn't mind making one myself based on Souleater of some older Bleach opening...
I was doing the same thing. With the obligatory "OMG I can't believe it" at Bonney (with correct colours, no less!), because that marks the video as really recent. XD
I thought it might be her purely because I didn't recognize the clothes. XD
Yeaaah, I realized she might be on the cover of 51 and went looking for it right after I posted. Kidd's Renji-red hair and the rest of his color scheme make him look like a devil. And for some reason that blond mane really works with Killer.
