Oh, One Piece is so intensely awesome right noww. <3 (Aw, Bonney come on and join the fiiight~ ;__;) Also, I can't decide if non-fatal decapitation is more or less awesome than the fatal kind would've been.

And hello, what's this? A Naruto chapter that actually kind of moved me? Surely you jest!

Yanno, I think I might have finally become a Law fangirl. I still like Killer and Urouge better, though. XD

Also, upon learning this new info about Doflamingo...someone pointed out that the slave Chalros was riding several chapters back looked an awful lot like Bellamy...

I noticed that too about that slave! Due, wouldn't that be a worse blow to Bellamy's pride than death?

It would be. Poor hyena, if it is him. ;_;

Wait, you mean I've found someone else who liked Bellamy?

Awesome.

Mostly, yeah. I don't deny that he was an arrogant bastard, but even so, if that slave IS him, he really doesn't deserve that.

I find that all the rookies have something likeable to me. Bonney's a given, Urouge seems interesting and his heavy-set features are NOM.. Kidd and Law are awesome for helping out, Apoo has four elbows, Killer looks very promising... and generally everyone is just really cool.

And I was one of the people who thought that guy looked like Bellamy. Now that it's apparent that Doflamingo has connections to slave trade, it doesn't seem at all unlikely that he might've shipped him ouver to Shabondy to be sold.

Urouge intrigues me purely because he's Skypiean and has that "fallen priest" moniker...it makes me wonder if Enel kicked him out when he took over.

KILLER = VOLDO. That alone makes me want to pay attention to him. XD

I smell a potential SBS question regarding the slave. Because I also wouldn't put it past Do to have kept Bellamy alive and sold him as a slave.

IT'S MORE AWESOME. TOTALLY. ALSO TERRIFYING. BUT AWESOME.

Yeah anyway, chapter kicked ass. :D

(Also I joined that webcomic promo community, FYI.)

It's an awesome superpower to be sure, but on the other hand, they're supposed to be pirates. Why not kill the marine? (or let him die, since, yanno, the cannonball apparently would've taken his head off if Law hadn't done it first) Then again, OP definition of pirate is less "ruthless killer and thief" and more "adventurer", except when the pirate in question is a bad sort.

(I saw you post. Hope it'll pique someone's interest)

Really? Because I figured the reason he did it was to show that he could do it. It's like waving a flag that says "Hey, I'm a Devil Fruit user and I can do things that'll give you nightmares for the rest of your life. Don't fuck with me."

Also, I'm pretty sure the cannonball wouldn't have taken his head off first. I...I don't really know what he did, entirely, but I think he had to take the guy's head off to switch it with the cannonball...? I don't know, it'll probably be explained better in later chapters.

Well, you have a point, there. Unless that marine has nerves of steel, he's bound to be pretty traumatized.
And now that I look at it, it could be he switched the head and cannonball around. First time I read the chapter, it looked like the cannonball's trajectory just took it through the space where the guy's head used to be.

Though I don't see a connection between the power to decapitate a person without killing him and the power to switch two items around. Perhaps his sword does the decapitating part (he does use it, but call out no attack name when he does) and his DF does the switching around? Or he could just be like Kuma, whose DF powers work however they damn well please.

Yeah, I think he can just take things apart and switch them, or something. I'm sure it'll make sense later. I'm sure Kuma's power will make sense later, too. Just...probably quite a lot later, as opposed to...soon.

On the one hand, it's slightly disappointing not to have a fairly "piraty" rookie (course, we don't know what he's gonna do with the head now that he has it). On the other, there is something inherently awesome in both long-distance decapitation and having a living head puppet.

And Naruto did something interesting? Wow, the one week I didn't bother to read it.

Yeah, that's how I feel, too. I was disappointed that it wasn't what it looked like at first, but on the other hand... dude, NON-FATAL DECAPITATION.

The new Naruto chapter was basically Naruto (and Tsunade, and to a lesser extent everyone else) mourning Jiraiya. Which, from where I'm standing at least, is infinitely more interesting than Sasuke and his issues.

I loved this chapter. Rayleigh is awesome; I love his 'bedside manner' with Caimie while he was removing the collar.

I had a fangasm when Law did his thing. Like woah.

Yeah, Rayleigh is the very definition of awesome. I want to, like, marry him or something.
