The accent thing reminds me of 4Kids Sanji, though that is probably just me.

But then he (spoiler) breaks out poison projectiles that "send you to the next world"? Now, I realize it's extreeeemely unlikely that Oda is having a go at 4Kids, here. And yet... and yet...

Well, whatever, that's what I choose to read it as. XD Even thought I know it's probably not what's going on.

I mean, there's just no way, right?

...I don't think it's likely, but then I never even noticed that until you mentioned it. But at the same time, we can't put ANYTHING past Oda. The man is on crack. XD

Is it wrong that I yelled "GO HACHI" when he saved Zoro and Brook from those blows near the beginning of the chapter?

No, it's not wrong at all. XD I loved that part too.

But, you know, this is kind of like Arlong Park in other ways than the glaringly obvious, with Zoro's previous injuries slowing him down and whatnot.
