A bit of a c-c-c-combo breaker artpost to prevent three Harry Potter posts in a row. Because I know there are people on my flist who don't care about Harry Potter.




I HAD THE ANGST, SIR. D: You probably saw that pathetic angstpost I made a while ago.


Angstdoodles, with an OotP Harry thrown in to intensify the angst. Also a self-portrait in there. I can't actually bend enough to put my feet on my shoulders but when I get angsty I get anxious and then I want to tie myself in a knot but I'm not flexible enough. *emo tear*

...right. Moving on.

Then I, inspired by a discussion I and lila_vulpes had, designed parents for Coby. A couple of short but pleasant non-badass types. The dude looks taller than he is cuz of the top hat. I figured pink hair would be a super-recessive allele so a kid would have to get it from both of his parents to have that phenotype. (of course, this being a hypotethical recessive allele, neither of the parents would have to actually be pink-haired, but shush, that's a secret) /biology geekery

And now I guess I should go to sleep or something.

...

As if. I wonder if there's anything worth watching on TV...

Usopp/Nami for MMMEEEEE! *w* GLEE! Thanks a bunch, it's so cute and fuzzy b'aw. You should post it on the community maybe, all the fans probably need some of Usonami since it's been really quiet there lately (well honestly there isn't much traffic there ever)
I love how your ladies have some FLESH on them instead of being anorectic monsters. NO OFFENSE ON ODA. (Well actually yes. But nevermind-)

I remember that gene biology stuuuuff from a long time ago 8D You would think pink hair would be very recessive but a lot of anime characters seem to have it huh >_> I guess it's like blonde hair too (I don't think being half german and half japanese lets you get blonde hair does it? You need two of those ...genes to have it, right?) But Coby's mom looks so homely ;3; They look like such nice parents (that would definately be proud of their ass-kicking son now LOL).

Mr. 9 deserves more love than he gets, that's true.

And yeah, you genes would have to be "all-blonde" for you to be blonde, basically. It's true that anime generally doesn't care about the rules of genetics, but I doooo!

It's cool to see you had a different idea of how they'd look like. In my vision they would, like yours, have this cute-gentle look, but they'd be Marine members too. I don't even know where that pseudo-victorian gentleman look for Coby's dad came from but I think it suits him. xD

I can see Coby having parents like your version, too. :D The thought of them being marine never crossed my mind, haha.
