I mean, I used to call them my favourite band, and Tarja was my idol at some point, but they've been going downhill lately. Their latest album is their worst yet (ironically, it was with their latest album that they made the final breakthrough into mainstream) and they haven't been making much progress with anything besides popularity in the past couple of years.
The rest of the band seems to be planning on going on, though. I just hope they're not going to try and find a replacement for Tarja, because that will never fly. Tarja has an unique voice, and although I have no doubt they'd be able to find someone who could pull the songs off as well as she does, the fanbase would not stand for it. Now, if they went on as an all-male band - with or without any new members - and maybe changed the name, I believe they could once again be something. Who knows, maybe they would even go back to making good music.
