Egypt picspam!
I should stress that I never left the hotel's vicinity, because there was nothing of great interest nearby. There was one small town which we might have visited to kill time, but there was never a good day for that.

This is the building we lived in. Each building of this sort had like..six rooms, I think. Balconies on one side and an open-air corridor on the other.

This is where we ate three times a day (it was all-inclusive). The breakfast was good, and the pastries they served at the breakfast were heavenly. The lunch tended to be ok, and the dinner (which had a different theme each night) had a lot of variety, but there seemed to be a fundamental difference in Finnish and Egyptian tastes that drove most of us to taste a few things and then revert to the fresh fruit.

This is the view from the balcony above the restaurant.

They were in the middle of constructing another pool or possibly a small water park.

We were surrounded by the desert on three sides and the Red Sea on the fourth, but the hotel area was kept very lush and verdant.

And then you could turn around and see this.

This just happened to look nice.

This amphitheatre had shows for the guests every other night.
And these are the souvenirs I bought:
