I dislike the way the smell of one or more of my neighbours' cooking sometimes gets into my apartment. I have no clue how that happens, I just know that sometimes I smell foods that I've never had here.

Mostly it's just the smell of rich, spicy foods that makes me wish I had the money and inclination to make that kind of food.

Today, however, it's the smell of boiled cabbage. Ew.

Same here. I don't mind if the smell is nice (though if someone's baking I'll have a horrible urge to knock their door and ask if I could get something too...) but cabbages. In fact, just today I complained that everything smelled like them again. D:

Yeah, I don't really mind the good smells, either (except when all I have is macaroni and tuna, heh) but cabbage is one of the few food-related smells that just isn't pleasant at all.
