Feb. 19th, 2005 11:32 pmSo our contestant for the Eurovision song contest has been chosen.
..And he's Norwegian.
Now, don't get me wrong, I have no problem with the Norwegian people or other foreigners for that matter. It's just that... you know... When someone is sent out to represent a country it should be their own country at the very least. Of course, he's married to a Finnish woman and probably is a finnish citizen, but still...
Not that it matters, when you think about it. Finland is never going to win that contest, and I don't think anyone in their right mind has really believed in it for a long time now. It's just that I'm still Finnish myself, and, despite all the bad stuff I may or may not have said about this country, this is the country I'm cheering for.
