Some Tekken art for a change...



I drew both of these while in spain, and the paper wasn't of the best quality, so by the time these got to meet the scanner, they were pretty ruffled for a variety of reasons. Mostly because of my sweaty palms, though.


In a way, I like how this turned out, and on the other hand, Lei looks too small, Neither has enought muscles and despite my tries, I never did get either face quite as I would have hoped. I had no reference pictures with me, so Lei doesn't really look much like, well, Lei, and this was the first time I'd drawn Bryan for months.



This one I like more. I found that a few of the sheets of paper I had with me had already been used years ago. On this paper, there was an early drawing of Bryan, in a trenchcoat for some reason, lacking the scar and an eyebrow (why, I'll never know) and looking kind of sad, which really isn't a Bryan-like expression. So I drew him again on the same paper, only in more detail, this time more IC and with eyebrows and his scar. I would show you the original picture, but I'm really ashamed of it.

...Bryan looks like Snape in those. I think it's the nose. Not that him looking like Snape is a bad thing, of course...

Yeah, I couldn't remember the exact shape of his nose and because I've been drawing Snape so much lately that shape just sneaked in. Though I do think Bryan's nose shapeshifts. It looks different in T4 thasn it does in T3. Don't remember about TTT, though, and can't say much about T5, because I haven't got it yet.

His whole face kinda shapeshifted between T3/TTT and T4...although I think that's because they got a different artist to do the character portraits.
