So I was watching recent episodes of One Piece anime and realized Brook had shading here and there. This is when a thought hit me:
Shouldn't a person whose shadow has been stolen be completely without shading? After all, most unlit areas on a person's body are that way because their own body prevents the light from reaching said areas. And since a person casts no shadow, obviously the light is now passing through them and reaching areas it logically shouln't.
Or maybe I should just go to sleep already.

As for the 100% shadeless thing, I think you're right. But then again, it's Oda, maybe the "shadow" he's talking about is just the one we see on the floor/wall/yadda-yadda, with our shape... OW I HAVE NO IDEA
