So I was watching recent episodes of One Piece anime and realized Brook had shading here and there. This is when a thought hit me:

Shouldn't a person whose shadow has been stolen be completely without shading? After all, most unlit areas on a person's body are that way because their own body prevents the light from reaching said areas. And since a person casts no shadow, obviously the light is now passing through them and reaching areas it logically shouln't.

Or maybe I should just go to sleep already.

Y'know people at AP Forums are also bothered by Brook's occasional shading... but well Toei made mistakes before XD And I think said mistakes amuse Oda (suddenly there's a whoooole new way to enter the Grand Line, which was used by Coby, Meppo and Garp, one of the few ones Toei actually SHOWED (by a photo, in this case XD) passing through the Reverse Mountain XDDD).

As for the 100% shadeless thing, I think you're right. But then again, it's Oda, maybe the "shadow" he's talking about is just the one we see on the floor/wall/yadda-yadda, with our shape... OW I HAVE NO IDEA
