I'm staying off tumblr for the day in solidarity or whatever, though I fully expect the protest to have no effect.

And anyway I don't even really want to save tumblr as the main fandom platform. So, you know.

I accidentally stayed off tumblr too, cos I just plain didn't have the time for computering : D Yay, I... helped? But yeah, I'd rather fandom moved elsewhere too, hopefully here. It'll be a bother if Twitter is the next hip place cos that thing is freaking useless :|

I know right? I'll say this for Tumblr; at least there's some archival functionality, where you can search a blog by tags. Far as I can tell, twitter has no such thing, so if you tweet often, that tweet from a year and a half ago is as good as gone - especially if it was a retweet.
