It's... pretty cute. And occasionally there are interesting historical anecdotes accompanying the strips. So there's that.
But by all rights, it shouldn't be as hugely popular as it is. I guess it's so liked because it's cute and offers a lot of opportunities for slash.
Basically, I can't wholly recommend it, but I can't say it's not fun, either. xD
